trip. looong trip...

So whole trip started at 23.00 at Fabryczna station on Friday 4th of November. I went by bus to Prague, where I was to meet Katka from Czech Republic. I reached the bus station in Prague at 7 in the morning the next day. I met Katka and we started our trip together at 8.30. We went threw Czech Republic, Slowakia, Serbia and Montenegro, we finally reached Bulgaria. We got of the bus in Sofia at 7 in the morning on Sunday. We were to wait for another bus, but in the travel agency in seemed they know nothing actually... It appeared that we have free time till 2 p.m. so we decided to hang around in the city center. The temperature was for sure below zero, we were just freezing... Fortunately at 12 it became really nice. We were not freezing any more as we drank a tea in... McDonalds (of course!). At 2 we were already in the bus dreaming of taking a shower. We were complaining about our hair, how ugly they are. On our way we met a few people from Macedonia, who are studing in Bulgaria. Each weekend they are hoing for the weekend to Bulgaria and during the week they are in Skopje. With them the trip was funny and it seemed to be shorter. At the border with Macedonia we were a little bit scared. The guards took our passports and they told us to leave the bus. They were asking what we will be doing in Macedonia, for how long we will be there etc. The questions were a kind of rutine. Then everybody was to leave the bus, take the luggage to be checked. We survived, and it was quite a funny experience. At 8.30 we finished our trip. Hurra! But... The place we were didn't look like a bus station, were other facis were supposed to meet us... Fortunately those Macedonians we met in the bus felt kind of 'responsible' for us and they took a taxi and we moved to the place that definately looked like a bus station J If it was not them... the only problem was that neither me not Katka had mobile number of anybody in Skopie, we also didn't know the address. But the story has a happy ending. We found each other, we took a shower (wohoo! We were not smelling any more!) and we went to the restaurant to have a good Macedonian food. Yummy! I havent been eating anything warm for at least 40 hours! OK., that's all for now. Time to go to bed- yes a real bed. Not like having a nap in the bus, squized in the bus chair... Cio! ('bye' in Macedonian J )
