Saturday I have experienced the best day since the begining of my stay in Macedonia! And now I understand people who love mountains so much!
There was something amazing in those mountains whenever I could see them (usually there is a fog and you don't even realize that Skopje is surrounded by mountains)
This time i had the chance to hike, to see the view from up.
Me and my polish- canadian friend Mateo went by bus to one really interesting village. From there we were walking for about 30 minutes...

...crossing the river- just see this lovely bridge!

I knew it will not be easy only when I looked down from the bridge.

We started the climb from Monastery.
Then I realized that I am a real beginner, I was not ready for the hike at all,
and I already started complaining to Mateo
(coz it was raining, my legs were already hurting...
I was looking for 10000 reasons not to go up!)

From the begining we were passing my some cool places
(I am standing IN the tree)

such a pity there was a fog!
Pictures are not able to show the mistery of that place

Me and Mateo

UP THERE!
We had a nice break, with chocolates and some other sweets.
I was wet- still I don't know if it's because I was swetting or it's because of rain :-P

There is a nice Monastery on the top... or it's better to say that it used to be a Monastery

Fancy fotos on the top...

...and some mountain nature...

It was definatelly worth all the effort!
Next time I'm gonna go there when there are no clouds.
And the next time must be soon!

Some time ago few of us started to climb Vodno every Sunday. We wanted to make it a habbit (every Suday - Vodono) but the weather screwed up so we had to pass a lot of opportunities...
maybe we can arrange and go in some warmer days...the whole bunch of us... :)
