no more eggs

Uff! I ate so many eggs in last 3-4 days, that you cannot even imagine! See, here, in Macedonia people are giving painted eggs to other people. Even the lady in the shop downstairs was doing so! I realized, that even if we did not buy and paint our own eggs, we could have enough of them during this Easter :-) Anyways, the custom is very cool! The Saturday evening was interesting. There were crowds gathered in the center, people were dressed up, meeting their friends and lighting the candles. Then, at midnight everyone took out their eggs (they should be red) and the started breaking them. After this custom, most of people went to some parties. We did not stay long, as our breakfast at Polish Consul was starting at 9.30, and we still had some things to prepare. Easter breakfast was great! It still did not feel like home, the atmosphere was polish- Consul and his wife, me, Mateo, Basia and her sister and 4 polish soldiers. Then we went to the church together, and after that we had a nice 'picnic' with some volunteers at Kale. In the evening we went again to Consul's place, as there was still some food to be eaten from the Easter breakfast :-P Monday was more normal, with less food, thanks god, but still with at least 3 eggs per person. I was wet of course, as this was 'Wet Monday' according to our tradition (thanks Mateo :-) About 4 pm, as the weather was great, me and Mateo spontaneously decided to hike Vodno. That was really crazy, coz we were almost running to make it for the sunset. And guess what? We made it! And here are the most beautiful eggs...
